After the successful launch of the UMIDIGI S2 and in order to satisfy the demand of users for state of the art technology, UMIDIGI is now opening the presale event for another high-end device, UMIDIGI S2 Pro.
The S2 Pro is a full-metal device with a 6″ 18:9 FHD+ Sharp display which means that the phone feels like a 5.5″ device instead of a giant phablet when holding it in hand. The high-resolution provides for crisp picture quality, even for VR use. The handset is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio P25, clocked at 2.6GHz. RAM and storage are plenty too, as it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, an awesome configuration for a device under $300.
As for the camera department, the S2 Pro comes with a 16MP selfie snapper with Face Beauty 7.0 while on the back there’s a dual camera setup with a 13MP Sony main sensor and a 5MP sub-sensor that measures distance around the focused object to create the Bokeh effect. Also, the 5100mAh battery provides for up to 3 days of use and charges from 0% to 100% in just 2.5 hours.
Besides all its performance capabilities, the UMIDIGI S2 Pro also is water-resistant, a pretty useful function as accidents happen all the time. Watch the video below to learn more about the S2 Pro water-resistance.
Last but not least, it comes with Face ID recognition technology in addition to the fingerprint sensor unlock. This provides extra security when you lose your device or it gets stolen.
The S2 Pro comes in two colors, Red and Black. Also, it lacks the 3.5mm audio jack but you can connect a Type-C to 3.5mm jack if you want to use your old headset. The official price of UMIDIGI S2 Pro is set at $339, but during the presale period you can get it for $40 off, at $299. That price is for the first 3000 units and it will be valid until December 4th on Gearbest.
