Leagoo T5c: Spreadtrum SC9853i SoC scores 50000+ on Antutu! (video)

Leagoo, the emerging smartphone brand, is recently reported to launch its latest smartphone T5c, the world’s first smartphone powered by Intel X86 Airmont SoC SC9853I in collaboration with Spreadtrum.

As the world’s  Top 3 mobile chip maker, Spreadtrum has released quite a few mid-range SoCs these years, including its latest product SC9853I. Judging by its features and functionality, SC9853I aims at the mid-range smartphone market with powerful performance brought by Intel’s microarchitecture.

So far, Leagoo released a video footage to demonstrate the good performance of SC9853I. In the video you can see it running Antutu benchmark and scoring over 50k score!

Leagoo T5c will be equipped with 1.8Ghz 8-core SoC, Samsung 13MP/OV 2MP rear dual camera and 5.5” Sharp FHD IPS display. Also there are 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, a little behind the T5 but it still has a large LG 3000mAh battery with 5V2A quick charge. The good news is that the front fingerprint ID is reserved for its convenient usage.

As a mid-range smartphone, LEAGOO T5c has the best price for its great performance and specs. You can seldom find any problem regarding its design or specifications.       3D performance is the disadvantage for this SC9853i. The price at $130 is not right position of this phone with SC9853. The most attractive stuff for SC9853i is just X86 based chip. Is it more power saving than MT6750T???

      CPU wise is STRONG. GPU wise is a big problem… Intel should came with Mali T860 MP4

        Last version of X86 from Intel show the issue of overheat. Maybe they want to improve this totally. As you mention, the GPU does not match CPU in fact.

          And thinking that Broxton was the true evolution.. their cores were as strong as Kryo…. But the GPU was still the problem..

          Also… SoFia killed Atom on phones…. And killed Broxton.
