This has been revealed through a recent patent filing by Samsung with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Samsung has been known for launching flagship phones with innovative display design. The Galaxy S6 Edge is the first dual edge screen smartphone from the company.
First spotted by Lets Go Digital, the patent application shows that the screen of the smartphone features tiny holes for sensors and hardware such as front-facing camera, iris scanner and speakers. In other words, it won’t be featuring any sensor or hardware on the bezel of the phone. Moreover, it will be sporting a bezel-less design.

The Galaxy Note 9 arriving later this year is expected to debut as the company’s first phone with in-screen fingerprint scanner. Since the aforementioned design may arrive in future phone by Samsung, it may also an under-display fingerprint scanner.
