When the Blackview Bv9000 Pro was released it became the world’s first rugged smartphone with an 18:9 full-screen and was was equipped with a high-end configuration: a fast Helio P25 octa-core SoC together with massive 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Also, there was a dual real camera setup with 13MP/5MP sensors for super night shooting, Gorilla Glass 5, and a 4180mAh BAK battery with 12V2A quick charge. The only low-end feature was the 5.7″ display with HD+ resolution. But now, Blackview is upgrading the display to FHD+ that has 1080*2160 resolution to better fit with the rest of the specs.

As for its rugged character, it hasn’t changed a bit. Blackview has done yet another durability test and uploaded the video to YouTube yesterday. As you can see, this time the device is dropped off a cliff, put into a tub of flour mixture as well as a washing machine. Check out the video below.

The Blackview BV9000 Pro is one of the most rugged devices to date. It complies with military standards, has IP68 certification that together with the Gorilla Glass 5 make it a perfect choice for those working in dangerous environments. Construction companies will likely be more than happy to purchase them for their workers. You can get it now on Aliexpress.
