The UMIDIGI One could become even more interesting than we initially thought, especially for international customers. All information from a UMIDIGI insider lead to the concusioco that the company has made a few technical breakthroughs.

The most exciting news is that UMIDIGI One allegedly supports 36 global network bands and more than 21 international LTE bands. Also, a better 4G Internet support for European countries is available.

What’s more, in the leaked image below, you can clearly see the CE and FCC certifications on the back panel which means UMIDIGI gets official permission and is allowed to enter the American market. And since the device can be used in more countries, it could be an indication that the company could expand to big markets like America, India, Canada, Australia, Brazil, etc. Apart from that, users will be able to use the device around the world without problem.

UMIDIGI One supported network bands

  • GSM(2G): 850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900
  • CDMA 1X: BC0/BC1
  • WCDMA(3G): Band1/2/4/5/8
  • EVDO:BC0/BC1
  • TD-SCDMA: B34/39
  • LTE-FDD(4G): Bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B
  • LTE-TDD(4G): Bands 34/38/39/40/41

Our source not only mentioned the global band, but also implied that UMIDIGI One will have iPhone-X like glass back cover. Along with the formerly leaked notch screen Z2, it seems that UMIDIGI is fully prepared to make some noise. Let’s expect more news in the coming months.

Lastly, noticed anything special on the back? There is number 1 printed in the back. Could it be a fingerprint sensor embedded there or is it just a logo? Tell us what you think in the comments down below.

If you can’t wait until the One is released, you can take advantage of the UMIDIGI S2 Lite opening sale on Gearbest. It is a perfect budget choice that sports facial recognition, 18:9 display and 5100mAh big battery.
