As we’ve mentioned in previous news, Vernee is attending the annual MWC (Mobile World Congress) that opened its gates today in Barcelona where many new models and devices will be unveiled from participating companies. During the exhibition, the company will release its new annual flagship model, Vernee Apollo 2, which will carry the Helio X30 deca-core SoC as well as cutting-edge design and the radical configuration, not only to ensure high quality and high performance but also to bring the excellent user experience.
The Apollo 2 has a simple and upright overall style with its all-metal unibody design, which makes the screen and the frame become one. It is equipped with a 5.99″ Sharp TDDI 18:9 all screen and compared to the previous generation, it has more narrow borders and a screen-to-body ratio of more than 87%. On the front, there is a 2.5D glass while at the same time there is the 2.5D cover on the back processed with double CNC high-gloss cutting, 3D sandblasting, anodized coloring, etc that gives a comfortable grip. The sense of high-end product is intensified by the perfectly crafted details like the volume keys, flash, camera, and fingerprint module that are all processed via CNC cutting.
Specs-wise, in addition to the Helio X30 SoC, the Apollo 2 is also be equipped with an 8MP front camera, 16MP/13MP dual rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, beauty features, and powerful night imaging capabilities. What’s more, there’s 6GB RAM combined with 128GB internal storage and the device supports PE Plus dual-channel 24W Type-C fast charging. All that runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo platform.
