The biggest news on these days is definitely the MWC 2018 (Mobile World Congress). During the show and unlike previous years that there was a special event outside the show1, Samsung announced the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus (starting at $839) and turned many heads. Being the most expensive Galaxy models to date, many tech fans turned their focus towards Chinese manufacturers and models like the UMIDIGI Z2 that is estimated to cost around $300.
The rumor mill for the UMIDIGI Z2 has been over-active in the last month, and there was even a leaked image that showed an iPhone X-like notch and glass back. Yesterday, a new UMIDIGI Z2 image was streamed online, showing no fingerprint on the back of the phone (the previous one has), pushing us to an estimation that UMIDIGI Z2 will adopt an in-display fingerprint reader or the Z2 will feature a Pro version as well.
Other rumors mention a 6.2″ FHD+ display with notch on the top and the world’s fastest wireless charging (15W). New leak also points out that UMIDIGI Z2 will launch globally at the beginning of April. Let’s wait and see.
