The 18:9 aspect ratio is already old as -since Apple introduced the iPhone X- now it tends to become obsolete by an even higher aspect ratio of 19:9 and above. Of course, the notch is present in almost any new device, and even Huawei adopted it one their latest flagships.
Another manufacturer which is a well-known brand in the mobile phone industry in China has begun to focus on the notch screen recently. It is Cubot and recent information are talking about a new model called Cubot P20. It’s going to be the flagship for Q2 and it is said to carry a very attractive price.
In terms of design, it is similar to iPhone X which is quite common among a large number of devices with notch displays. As usual, the notch is there in the middle of the top to host the front camera, the earpiece, and all other mandatory sensors. All the design choices result in a narrow body and wide display with immersive visual effect.
As far as the hardware is concerned, the P20 will feature a 6.18″ FHD+ 19:9 notch display and an MT6750T octa-Core SoC accompanied by 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The rear camera setup sports a 20MP/2MP combo. It is worth mentioning that the body thickness is 8.5mm and hosts a 4000mAh camera. It is reported that the Cubot P20 will be listed in the second quarter of this year. If you are interested, just visit their official website.
