Last year, Mediatek introduced a new, entry-level SoC, MTK6739, with its killer feature being the dual SIM/dual VoLTE support. The MT6739 SoC partly uses quad core Cortex-A53 design and runs at 1.5GHz while the PowerVR GE8100 570MHz GPU is supporting 18:9 aspect ratio, HD+ displays. The 18:9 HD+ displays are the most commonly used in the smartphone industry right now.
This SoC will be used on the next Cubot device, Cubot Nova, that will feature a 18:9 full-screen. The most important selling point of the Cubot Nova will be its low price. Having a low price, it will allow more users experience the current popular full-screen and mobile phones supporting dual 4G cards at a lower price. Below, you can see the main specs of the device.
