UMIDIGI Z2 Flagship Series announced with notch display and gradient color! (video)

Everyone knows iPhone X that was released last year and created a big hit in the smartphone market and industry. But people constantly chase for bigger screen-to-body ratio and better design and this never stops. The well-established Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI is now announcing their own notch flagship smartphone, and It’s even ready for the toughest comparison against the king: iPhone X.

As usually happens with the latest devices from the company, both devices will feature global bands with a total of 36 bands and 7 internet modes as well as the latest Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled! Check out a short hands-on in the video below.

As far as design is concerned, a smartphone that comes in gradient colors catches the eye. The UMIDIGI Z2 series comes in three colors, Black, Twilight, and Phantom. The twilight and phantom versions sport an innovative gradient color finish on the back of the phone.


Talking about specs, some of them are already confirmed, with the rest following on the launch event taking place on May 9th. So, The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro adopts a 5.8″ 19:9 FHD+ display and on the inside it will host the latest, AI-driven Helio P60 octa-core SoC, consisting of four Cortex A73 and four Cortex A53 cores with a max CPU frequency of 2.0GHz. Also, it supports dual fast charging: 18W fast wired charging as well as 15W wireless charging. What’s more, it will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and 2 16MP/8MP cameras, one on the front and one on the back.
