Vkworld K1 is expected to hit the market very soon (early June) and besides its other respectable specs, it will also feature wireless charging. A lot of time has passed since wireless charging was introduced in mobile phones and now it is time for this feature to enter the more affordable segment of the market.
In short, wireless charging uses an electromagnetic field through copper coils to transfer power to the battery without the need to plug in a cable. Just place your smartphone on the charging pad and it starts charging. The latest version with dual coils allows for smaller distance between the device and the pad, offering faster charging times than in the past. That’s the type of charging Apple chose for the latest iPhones and that’s the type that Vkworld will be featuring.
The K1 is a compact device sporting a 5.2″ IPS FHD display, doing away with huge displays. In addition, there are 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, a standard configuration for the mid-end category. With such a display size, the 4040mAh battery should give you more than a day of use. Lastly, Android 8.1 Oreo will be preinstalled.
