Avenir Telecom that is an Energizer licensee has been very active and has designed and distributed a range of 14 phones, among which are 7 smartphones in 3 distinct ranges: Hardcase (resistant
smartphones), Power Max (smartphones with long-lasting batteries), and Energy
(smartphones with protection accessories included and mobile phones). The latest addition to the Hardcase lineup is the Energizer Hardcase H500S.
The H500S is IP68 certified which means it can be submerged up to 1.2 meters depth for 30 minutes
and is also dust-proof, meaning you can take pictures underwater and bring it along in all your adventures. As the company states, it is built with reinforced materials to withstand accidental drops from a height of one meter. Also, the display is covered by Gorilla Glass 3, which might be 2 generations behind but is still quite tough.
As for the rest of its specs, it hosts an MT6737 SoC along with 2GB of RAM that should be enough for everyday use. Also, the H500S supports VoLTE with the modem reaching 150/50 Mbps Download/Upload speeds. The display is a 5″ HD one and the rear camera features a 13MP sensor while the selfie shooter a 5MP. Of course, it is a dual SIM device and internal storage can be expanded up to 32GB more via microSD card. Last but not least, it comes in a bold looking aluminum package that the company believes reflects the DNA of the brand: long lasting, powerful and innovative.
