Blackview just announced the pre-sale period for their new rugged devices Blackview BV9500 and BV9500 Pro and they are considered their best rugged devices to date. Both devices share common specs with the Pro version having an extra feature -Walkie Talkie function- and 2GB more RAM. The BV9500 is available for pre-order on the Blackview Store while the BV9500 Pro is participating on a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo and you can get it from there.
Both phones come with a 5.7″ FHD+ IPS display and Helio P23 under the hood. On the back, there is a 16MP Sony camera as well as a 0.3MP one that takes care of depth calculations to offer bokeh effect. For the selfie shooter, the company chose a 13MP camera for crisper selfies. Both come with plenty of RAM and storage with the standard version sporting a 4GB/64GB combo while the Pro features 6GB/128GB. There’s also a huge 10000mAh battery on both that is expected to offer several days of use. Of course, both have an IP68 certification which means waterproofing when immersed in water at 1.8 meters and up to 30 mins as well as dust-proofing.
As for network features, both offer excellent network coverage for worldwide use and the Walkie-Talkie feature on the BV9500 Pro allows for communication with others even if there is no coverage. To check out the full details for both, visit the dedicated activity page.
