The newly announced UMIDIGI One Pro is marketed by the company as a compact flagship since it sports a notch display that takes up almost the whole front panel, resulting in a compact body despite the fact that we are talking about a 5.9″ display. But what happens on the inside usually stays hidden from the user. That’s what teardowns are for and today we can see the internals of the One Pro.
As you can see, sealant has been applied but with the help of the professional tools from iFixit, you can easily open the phone. So after removing the back cover, you can see the heat-spreader applied as well as the wireless charging module. Beneath the cooling foil, there is an NFC & wireless charging combo on the top of the battery. The One Pro supports 15W fast wireless charging and NFC.
On the top, there is the Helio P23 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as the dual rear camera module. Since the device sports a dual speaker arrangement, one of them is built in the bottom of the phone while the other is hidden nearby the microphone. You can also distinguish the dual camera setup in the photos as the One Pro has a real one, unlike other manufacturers that put a fake secondary lens. The phone also packs a 16MP facing camera which let you take sharp and high-resolution selfies. There is also a side fingerprint scanner on the top of the power button, start your phone with one press, unlock with one touch. Enjoy the rest of the precise arrangement and manufacturing in the teardown photos.
