Sony Xperia XZ3 is the flagship phone that Sony is expected to reveal at the IFA 2018 tech expo at the end of the coming month. Rumors have claimed that the handset will be sporting a design that is very similar to the Xperia XZ2 that was unveiled earlier this year. Recent reports have also stated that the Xperia XZ3 will be equipped with dual rear cameras. However, a fresh benchmark reveals that it may arrive with a single rear camera.

A Sony smartphone with model number H8416 has appeared on GFXBench benchmarking site. It reveals that the handset is running on Android 8.0 Oreo. It features a 5.7-inch display that produces Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. This means that the display of Sony H8416 will deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9.

An octa-core processor that clocks at 2.7 GHz powers the smartphone. Since it is equipped with Adreno 630, it is powered by Snapdragon 845. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it has an internal storage of 64 GB.

All the recent reports of the Sony Xperia XZ3 have said that it will be featuring the very same dual camera setup that is available on the Xperia XZ2 Premium. Moreover, the GFXBench listing for the Sony H8416 is not available on its website. There is a possibility that it could be a photoshopped image or the Japanese tech giant could be prepping up two devices. The first one could be XZ3 with dual rear cameras and the other one with single rear camera.

It is advisable to digest the report with a grain t of salt and wait for newer reports to confirm on the Sony phone with 48-megapixel rear camera.
