Blackview is already a well-established company that specializes in releasing great rugged smartphones with high Value for Money characteristics. Their last flagship, BV9500 Pro went extremely well on the market and today, the company officially unveiled its substitute, the Blackview BV9600 Plus.
According to the company, the new device is a bold upgrade for the BV Series. The performance sector is taken care of by the Helio P60 SoC that is supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Compared to the previous generation, performance has increased by 70%. Also, for the first time, the BV9600 Plus adopts MediaTek’s NeuroPilot AI technology found on Helio P60. As the company states, the BV9600 Plus has a 12% overall performance increase and a 25% overall reduction in power consumption when running large games compared to the BV9500 Pro, significantly extending BV9600 Plus’s usage time.
What’s more, the new flagship features something rarely found on a rugged phone. It comes with an impressive FullView 6.21″ AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and ultra-narrow bezels. Despite the fact that we are talking about a rugged phone, its design is elegant and fairly thin, at only 9.8mm, almost half that of its predecessor. The body is made of a glass sandwich with a metal frame in the middle while the fingerprint is missing as it has an in-display one.
Being manufactured with LSR (Liquid Injection) process, it stands protected against water, moisture, resistant to acid, alkali and other chemical substances. Just perfect for outdoor activities or a happy day in the beach without the fear of damage.
Besides their new flagship, the BV6800 Pro is on presale since September 10th and until the end of the month it gets a great price drop. Currently, supported by a large number of customers, the activities are in full swing. The first day of sale exceeded 2000 units.
