There is no doubt that Elephone is making bold moves this year. After the announcement of its first Snapdragon device, the Elephone U Pro, and the establishment of their own factory, the Chinese manufacturer is about to enter the rugged smartphones market.
So, here comes the Elephone Soldier that will be the first of its kind to sport a 2K display, according to the company. Besides the 2K display and -obviously- the IP68 rating, Soldier’s other specs are pretty respectable too as well. A 10-core SoC will be the heart of the device, accompanied by 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB memory combos. Also, there will be a 21MP Sony camera, 5000mAh battery, physical compass, and an SOS button.
There is no information on when it will be officially released but judging by the photos that the company gave out, it seems ready to hit production. And it looks to be durable as a tank! More information will be available soon we guess along with the full specs sheet. Stay tuned on Elephone’s website for more news.
