Walkie-Talkie function appeared in smartphones recently, with manufacturers from China implementing the solution to their rugged devices to allow for seamless communication between people even in areas with no service at all. The latest addition to the pack is the Ulefone Armor 3T that is crowdfunded on Indiegogo and is about to start its presale next week. Judging by the previous models in the Armor Series, it should become a success too. Being tri-proof, it is certified by not only IP68 but IP69K too, as well as MIL-STD-810G military standard. Let’s check out how it does in this area.

Although it is submerged 12m underwater, it still functions as usual taking photos or recording videos. And it manages to get out unharmed too. Besides the Walkie-Talkie function that means true offline intercom, the Armor 3T packs a huge 10300mAh battery for carefree use all day (many days actually). Also, it comes with an octa-core SoC accompanied by 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there is a 21MP Sony rear camera and an 8MP front one. It support both fingerprint and Face unlock, a wide variety of network bands, NFC with Google Pay, and Android 8.1 Oreo.
