Among all the variants of the Xiaomi Poco F1, only the highest configuration edition that features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage come with can be availed in Armoured Edition that features a Kevlar back. In the previous month, rumors started swirling that the 64 GB and 128 GB editions of the Poco F1 will be also available in Kevlar back enabled Armoured Editions. Through a new tweet today, POCO India has confirmed the arrival of the Armoured Edition for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant.
Yesterday, POCO India had released few tweets to tease that it will be announcing a new Poco today. Well, the new Poco is not the Poco F2 phone as some may have speculated, but it is the Armoured Edition of the Kevlar back enabled 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. It has been introduced with a price tag of Rs. 23,999. It is will available for purchase through Flipkart and Mi.com. This model will be selling alongside its other color variants such as Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Rosso Red with a price tag of Rs. 22,999.
The Xiaomi Poco F1 variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage are now respectively selling for Rs. 19,999, Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 28,999. The Armoured Edition of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model is priced at Rs. 29,999.
The Poco F1 houses a 6.18-inch IPS LCD notched display. It supports 18.7:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 845 is the driving force of the smartphone. A 4,000mAh battery that carries support for Quick Charge 4+ powers the smartphone.
It features a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the rear shell of the device. There is an IR sensor placed in the notch which allow users to instantly unlock the phone even in dim-light conditions.
