It has been raining updates for weeks now. HMD Global has been hard at work pushing the Android Pie update to its devices and the latest phone to get it is the Nokia X5.

The update is already rolling out in China but only to a select few. A wider roll-out will commence later. The update is 1467MB in size but you need to have at least 2940MB of free space.

The update brings a new system navigation among others to the phone.

Since the Nokia X5 is already getting the update to Android Pie, its international variant, the Nokia 5.1 Plus should get it soon too.

The Nokia X5 is the second Nokia phone with a notch released this year. It has a 5.86 HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Helio P60 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage.
