The Xiaomi Redmi 7 has been approved by multiple certification bodies in the recent past. Today, the smartphone has been certified by NBTC in Thailand and TKDN in Indonesia. Now that the phone has bagged approval from multiple bodies, it appears that its global launch is close at hand.

The NBTC and TKDN listings of the M180F6LG model number have not revealed any information on its specifications. As Singapore’s IMDA body had certified the M180F6LG as Redmi 7, the NBTC certification also confirms the same moniker. In the previous, the FCC body in the U.S. had also certified by the M180F6LG smartphone.

Through the FCC listing it was revealed that the handset could be arriving with a display of around 6.2 inches. The dimensions of the handset are 157 x 76mm. The MIUI 10 based Android OS will be available preinstalled on the handset. The FCC documents have revealed that the Redmi 7 has three modes like 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage.

The 3C authority of China had three model numbers of the smartphone such as M180F6LE, M180F6LC and M180F6LT. It also confirmed that the phone will be shipped with a 10W charger. It indicated that the phone could be packed with modest specs.

Redmi is yet to confirm on the existence of the Redmi 7 series. The company has recently launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India. In China, the handset will be announced on March 18. Probably, the Chinese manufacturer may announce the Redmi 7 by the end of this month or early next month. It could be priced between 700 and 800 Yuan ($104 to $119).

The Redmi Note 7 Pro that was announced yesterday comes with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display and an attractive glass rear. The Snapdragon 675 powers the 4 GB RAM + 64 Gb storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage editions of the phone. It receives power from 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a dual camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The 64 GB and 128 GB editions of the Redmi Note 7 Pro are respectively priced at Rs. 13,999 (~$197) and Rs. 16,999 (~$239).
