Soon Xiaomi is going to add a new Smart Lock to its wardrobe. The Chinese giant shared a video teaser of a new Smart Car lock featuring a fingerprint scanner. It is in the works and launching soon in China. Along with its smartphones lineup, Xiaomi continually keeps evolving new daily-use products: from latest smartwatches to rice cooker, and from sports shoes to electric jackets.
The new teaser video showers some light on the Xiaomi Smart Car Lock features such as being rust free, facilitating operations smoothly and ability to work flawlessly in wet conditions. Users can unlock the device with a single finger scan without any issue. Xiaomi Smart Lock can lock electric cars, bicycles, homes and shops. It is an easily lockable and unlockable accessory for customers.
Xiaomi and Mars Exploration Technology Ltd are mutually developing the Xiaomi Smart Lock accessory. The latter is an industrial design company deals in UAV products, accessories, VR and other smart devices manufacturing. The company was established on May 26, 2015.
Already there are multiple smart fingerprint locks available in the market, but Xiaomi’s brand name will ensure superior quality and features. Even, the company’s extensive logistics network would help the device to reach every corner of the market. Its quite soon to comment on the actual features, pricing and availability of the new fingerprint lock.
The company will announce Xiaomi Smart lock on April 9th.
