On Friday, Huawei will be unveiling the Nova 5 series of smartphones in China. The Chinese firm has recently confirmed that the Nova 5 lineup will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Now, the camera samples captured through the front-facing camera of Nova 5 have been officially shared on Weibo. The images that feature Nova brand ambassador Jackson Yee from TFBoys show that the Nova 5 Pro will offer impressive low-light selfie shooting experience.
The Huawei Nova 5 Pro is equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera in its waterdrop notch. The four images shared by Yee show that the Nova 5 Pro is capable at capturing brighter selfie shots in dim-light conditions. The sample shots with impressive color reproduction and details suggest that the Nova 5 Pro will be able to shoot richer images at daytime.
The Huawei Nova 5 Pro is rumored to be equipped with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint reader. The Geekbench listing of the phone suggests that it will be arriving with Kirin 980 chipset. The official listing of the phone on JD reveals that it will be selling in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions in China.
The rear shell of the Nova 5 Pro is fitted with a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. The smartphone is rumored to arrive with a 3,500mAh battery. The 3C listing of the phone had revealed that it will be equipped with 40W fast charging. The Nova 5 Pro will be available in four colors like Green, Black, Orange and Purple. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the smartphone.
The alleged Nova 5i phone that was spotted with full specs on TENAA will be arriving with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole at its top-left corner. An octa-core processor may power the phone with 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. It will be come with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of inbuilt storage. It is expected to arrive with a 4,000mAh battery. The rear panel of the phone will be featuring a 24-megapixel sensor, an 8-mgapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel lens and ToF (Time of Flight) lens. The TENAA listing of the smartphone also states that it has a 24-megapixel selfie camera.
