Honor 9X smartphone has been in the new since past few weeks and now the company has confirmed that phone’s launch date in China. Huawei’s sub-brand has shared a new poster which reveals that the Honor 9X will get launched on 23rd July.

The smartphone is confirmed to come powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor made using the 7nm process node, which was launched last month. Last month, Xiong Junmin, vice president of Honor products, said the new X-Series will be powered by the Kirin 810 SoC.

Honor 9X Launch Date

The HiSilicon Kirin 810 is an octa-core processor which comes equipped with two Cortex-A76 high-performance large cores clocked at 2.27 GHz and six Cortex-A55 energy efficient small cores clocked at 1.88 GHz. It is coupled with Mali-G52 GPU for graphics processing.

As per the reports, the Honor 9X may come with an LCD screen that is between 6.5-inch and 6.7-inch in size. There is no mention of the design of the display but there will be a 20-megapixel or 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

The reports indicate that the device will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, along with a few other variants based on the memory configuration. It is expected to pack a dual camera module on the back side, featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing.

It is also being said that the phone will be powered by 3,000 mAh battery but it’s not yet known if the device will come with support for the fast charging technology or not. As for the software, the phone will be running Android Pie OS with EMUI 9 on top.
