Meizu will be launching its next flagship phone named Meizu 16s Pro on Aug. 28. It will be arriving as an advanced sibling of the Meizu 16s flagship smartphone that was announced earlier this year. A week ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has started the reservations of the Meizu 16s Pro through its official website.
The reservations page does not reveal any details on the specification of the Meizu 16s Pro. One can register for smartphone by entering a phone number. The smartphone will be coming a black colored box with ‘16s’ mentioned at the center and ‘Pro’ written towards the bottom.
Recently, Meizu Technology Vice President, Hua Hailiang had shared an image of the green colored Meizu 16s Pro. The image revealed that the overall design of the phone is almost same as the Meizu 16s handset. It features reduced bezels around the display.
Meizu 16s Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The handset had recently appeared on AnTuTu to reveals some of its key details. It revealed that its display carries support for 1080 x 2232 pixels resolution and is fueled by Snapdragon 855+ chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It has a built-in storage of 128 GB and it runs on Android 9 Pie OS. It had recorded an average benchmarking score of 464,411. It was the highest AnTuTu score from smartphone before iQOO Pro 5G had appeared with 497,179 score on AnTuTu recently.
The exact size of the display of Meizu 16s Pro is not known yet. Probably, it could be featuring a full HD+ 6.5-inch AMOLED screen since the 16s has a 6.2-inch display. The handset is expected to come equipped with an in-screen fingerpint reader. Some reports have claimed that the display of the Meizu 16s Pro will offer a refresh rate of 90Hz.
A recent leak had revealed that the Meizu 16s Pro will eb running on Flyme 7.8 UI and it will tag along with OneMind 3.5 AI engine. It also revealed that the phone may arrive in China in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants. Probably, these variants may respectively feature 128 GB and 256 GB of native storage.
The Meizu 16s Pro will be the first Meizu flagship phone to arrive with triple rear cameras. It is expected to feature Sony IMX586 48-megapixel lens as primary sensor. For shooting selfies, it may possess a 20-megapixel front camera. It could be housing a 4,010mAh battery that may support up to 24W fast charging. The handset may release in Blue, White and Green color variants.
