The Mi CC9 Pro which launched last week is one of the smartphones with the best cameras according to DxOMark. It holds the top spot alongside the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with a score of 121. However, it may not be Xiaomi’s top camera phone for long.
According to the credible Chinese leaker @Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has a camera-centric phone in development that trumps the Mi CC9 Pro in camera performance. He doesn’t reveal any other info about the phone but adds that we may get more details during Xiaomi’s AIoT event.
We also inferred from the Weibo post that Xiaomi may be working with Samsung again for the new device.
At the moment, rumors say we may get the Redmi K30 phone this year but knowing Xiaomi, they may still have a few more models in the pipeline scheduled to launch before the end of the year. One of these phones may be the one that takes the crown from the Mi CC9 Pro.
