Huawei‘s latest Mate 30 Pro flagship has really not blossomed to full capacity. That isn’t because the device isn’t an amazing phone. Damn, it is! But the US ban on Huawei has made it impossible to ship the phone with Google Services onboard. That has, in no small way, hampered the sales of the phone outside China. Despite the ban, the phone has been released in some regions and is now set to make its entry in the UK.

The Mate 30 Pro will go on sale on February 20 in the UK and would be sold exclusively online by Carphone Warehouse. Intending buyers can register their interest already ahead of the sales. In order to attract more buyers, Huawei is offering the Mate 30 Pro bundled with a pair of Huawei Watch GT 2 and the Huawei FreeBuds 3 earbuds. This amazing offer will be valid while stock last. Of course, we don’t expect the stock to last for a very long time.

Even without the mouthwatering offer, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro presents with an amazing 6.53-inch ‘waterfall’ edge-to-edge screen called ‘horizon display’. The device packs four rear cameras in a circular housing and a large front-facing notch housing a trio of selfie cameras. It is powered by a flagship Kirin 990 chipset which brings along 5G compatibility. Keeping the light on is a 4,500mAh battery.

The Mate 30 Pro will adopt a retail price of £899, which is not unheard of for a flagship phone of this calibre but combined with the smart accessories, it becomes a true bargain. We can’t say for sure if the decision to bundle the Mate 30 along with some valuable freebies who attract the needed number of buyers. We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
