Xiaomi‘s independent Redmi brand took the wraps off the Redmi K30 series last month in China. The series includes the Redmi K30, K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition. The Zoom Edition is obviously the top-end variant as it features up to 30x digital zoom.

Redmi has today announced another premium attribute that buyers can look for on the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. The feature is a new 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage variant. The model comes with a hefty price tag of 4499 yuan (~$634). The new version will go on sale in China from tomorrow (April 7). You’ll agree the price is impressive for a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage phone. The device was spotted on JD.com last month but wasn’t among the option announced.
