Jon Prosser was recently described by Macworld as “the Apple rumourmonger who hasn’t missed yet”. Sure thing, the tipster burst into the scene not too long ago and was accurate about so many things regarding the iPhone SE including the exact launch date. The tipster has now suggested that Apple may have got an iPhone SE Plus in the works and promises to deliver some information on the Plus size variant soon.

The iPhone SE was launched on April 15 featuring a design similar to the iPhone 8. The launch of the model which is powered by the latest A13 Bionic chipset resulted in the discontinuation o the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus sales. This is another indication that a larger display variant of the iPhone SE may be launched as a replacement for the iPhone 8 Plus.

It was previously reported that the “iPhone SE Plus” moniker was spotted in the iOS 14 program code. Thus, throwing up the possibility of its existence. The iPhone 8 Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch display and we expect the upcoming model to feature the same screen size. The model is also expected to packs dual camera setup at the rear.

We should point out that nothing is confirmed at the moment so take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.
