Mount Everest has long been closed to expedition both on the Chinese and Nepal side due to the Corovirus pandemic. However, China recently opened its side located in Tibet to a Chinese expedition team. The 30-member team of Chinese surveyors recently set out from the base camp at an altitude of 5,200 metres to a higher altitude in an attempt to reach the summit and re-evaluate the summit’s measurement. Mount Everest’s peak has a height of 8,848 metres from the base. If successful, it is said to go into the record as the first time professional surveyors in China would scale to the summit of Mount Everest.Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

The team is deploying an unusual tool to help in the measurement – the Mi 10 Pro. Yes, after its exploit in capturing shots from outer space, the camera is again being put to use for the Mount Everest elevation re-testing project.Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro comes with an advanced quad-camera setup that includes a 108MP primary camera with a 10X hybrid/50x digital optical zoom lens, a dedicated portrait lens, and a wide-angle lens.
