Xiaomi has been trying to roll out a bug-free Mi A3 Android 10 update for a few months now. But the company is yet to succeed in this regard. The smartphone maker has now begun to roll out a new Android 10 build with May 2020 security patch for the global variants of the handset.

Mi A3 Android 10 May 2020 Global

The global version of Mi A3 has already received multiple Android 10 updates over the past couple of months similar to Indian model. But the European variant has just received one update so far and it is comparatively bug-free than the other two versions.

The new Android 10 build with May 2020 security patch for global Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with build number  V11.0.15.0.QFQMIXM. It is currently available as an incremental OTA for users who are already on the latest buggy build. The update weighs only 35.47MB in size and thus can be easily downloaded on mobile data if you have an active plan for the same.

According to users, the update not only bumps up the security patch level but also fixes certain bugs. Previously, users reported camera shutter speed in Pro mode to have reduced to 1/4s but not anymore as it has been fixed now. Further, the label issue in the app drawer seems to have resolved as well.

Anyway, the OTA is being only pushed to 10% of users as of now. More units will be receiving the update in the coming days based on feedback. Later, the company might also release this build to users who are still on Android 9.0 Pie.
