After launching the Ninebot Kart Pro and the Ninebot E8 kids’ electric bike, Xiaomi has now today launched the Ninebot C30 series electric bikes meant for adults and is possibly the cheapest such device in the market.

The newly launched Ninebot C30 will be joining the existing list of C-series products from the company, which includes Ninebot C40, C60, and C80, priced at 3,999 yuan (~$571), 4,999 yuan (~$714), and 5,999 yuan (~$857) respectively.

For those who are unaware, last year, Xiaomi-backed Ninebot had unveiled two new series for electric bikes in China — C-series and E-series. Among the two, the C-series devices don’t need the user to have a valid driver’s license or vehicle registration to use it.

The pricing of the Ninebot C30 is 3,599 yuan (~$514) but it was available for 2,999 yuan (~$428) for the initial sale, offering a discount of 600 yuan. As for the specifications, there are no major changes in terms of maximum speed or battery life.

It is more lightweight and compact when compared to the other models. We will update this article whenever more information about this device is available.
