Multiple reports had claimed that Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy M31s smartphone within this month. The handset is expected to arrive as an updated version of the Galaxy M31 phone that debuted earlier this year. The microsite for the Galaxy M31s is now active on Amazon India. The retailer listing has confirmed that the Galaxy M31s will be made official on July 30 at 12 PM. The listing has also revealed some of the key specs of the handset.

One of the major highlights of the Samsung Galaxy M31s will be its 64-megapixel quad camera setup. Rumors have it that the main camera will be coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

It will continue to sport a behemoth battery of 6,000mAh capacity with reverse charging support. The Galaxy M31 had come with support for 15W charging. The M31s will be arriving with be equipped with the enhanced 25W fast charging support.

The Galaxy M31 had a waterdrop notch display. The display notch is replaced by a punch-hole on the Galaxy M31s. The exact size of the screen is not mentioned, but its mentioned that it will be sporting an S-AMOLED display.

The images of the Galaxy M31s on the retailer listing shows that it does not feature a rear-mounted or a side-facing fingerprint reader. It is speculated that the smartphone will be arriving with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

A recent report by IANS had revealed that the Galaxy M31s could be priced around Rs. 20,000 in India. Other rumored specs of the device include Exynos 9611 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and One UI based Android 10 OS.
