Xiaomi Mi TV Stick Review 13

Xiaomi became India’s top smart TV brand within a few quarters from its entry, thanks to its affordable feature-packed televisions. Though it now has a larger number of  competitors than before, it still continues to lead the market with brand recognition and reliability achieved through its smartphones.

To further increase its market share in streaming devices in India, Xiaomi launched Mi Box 4K, a rebadged Mi Box S and Mi TV Stick this year. The latter is now receiving its first-ever system update with two fixes and one improvement.

The rollout of this update with build number R536 was announced by Sudeep Sahu, the Product Manager of Mi TV India on Twitter. He even described the changelog of this new OTA update. According to him, the update improves system performance and brings fixes for Bluetooth disconnection and audio delay issues.

Hence, if you are a Mi TV Stick user, then make sure to download and install this update when you receive it. Like any other over the air system update, it is currently being pushed in batches.
