Redmi is reportedly planning to launch a new smartphone soon. It is said to break cover as a Redmi K30 series smartphone. Previous reports have claimed that the device could be called the Redmi K30Tv. However, a new leak claims that it will be debuting as the Redmi K30S and it will be the last Redmi K30 series smartphone.
Previous reports have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10T will be rebranded as a Redmi K30 series device in China. Based on the new leak, it can be said that the Mi 10T could be landing in the home market as the Redmi K30S.
There are speculations that the Redmi K30S may go official either by the end of this month or early in the coming month. Its arrival could be timed for the upcoming 11 / 11 (Nov. 11) shopping festival in the home market.
Xiaomi MI 10T specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 10T has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole cutout on the screen houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera and its rear is fitted with a 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform fuels the device with up to 8 GB of RAM. The phone offers 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS runs on the device.
