Earlier today, the upcoming Redmi Note series phones with model numbers M2007J22C and M2007J17C were spotted in the 3C database of China. The M2007J17C is believed to be a modified Xiaomi MI 10T Lite with a 108-megapixel primary camera. The M2007J22C phone has a global variant too and its model number is M2007J22G. Today, the global edition received approval from the European Economic Commission (EEC) authority.

A tipster had shared two leaked shots of the M2007J22C smartphone in early September. The first shot revealed that the phone’s screen has an upper-left corner positioned punch-hole. It was found to be equipped with a 2.4GHz octa-core processor and 8 GB of RAM. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, it could be featuring the 2.4GHz Dimensity 800U chip. It was found to be running on MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS.

The other shot revealed that the Redmi Note phone has a round-shaped camera module. Inside the housing, there was a triple camera system led by a 48-megapixel primary shooter and an LED flash. The authenticity of both shots could not be confirmed.

New Redmi Note series 3C certified

The 3C listing of the phone has revealed that the M2007J22C is a 5G ready phone. It also revealed that its retail package may house a 22.5W fast charger. The handset has also bagged MIIT certification in China. Hopefully, the device will soon be certified by the TENAA authority through which its specs and design will be revealed. Redmi is currently focused on the launch of the Redmi K30S. Rumors have that it will launch on Nov. 1 in China. Hence, there is a possibility that the next Redmi Note series may break cover later in November or early December.
