Earlier this year, Apple had confirmed that the company will be transitioning from Intel-powered Mac devices to its own Apple Silicon ARM-based chipsets. As promised, the company began that process with the launch of new M1-powered Mac devices.
A couple of days ago, Apple launched three new Mac devices — MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini, all of which are powered by the company’s new M1 chipset that is a part of ARM-based Apple Silicon.
In about two years, the company is planning to complete the transaction of its Mac devices from Intel chipsets to its own Apple Silicon. While the company has not revealed which devices can we expect in the coming months, a new leak reveals that information.
As per the reports, Apple could be launching a 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro in the market sometime around the third-quarter in 2021. It is also rumored that these laptops could feature a Mini-LED display.

While the company has updated its 13-inch MacBook Pro models with the new M1 chipset, the 16-inch models are still powered by Intel processors. If the reports are to be believed, then the MacBook Pro 16-inch models powered by Apple Silicon to be available for purchase after the first half of next year.
It is also said that the 24-inch iMac will be made official by the Cupertino-based giant by the end of this year or in Q1 2021. There are also reports claiming that there could be a smaller Mac Pro which could look similar to the current model but come with half its size.
The newly launched M1-powered Mac devices are now available for order and will start shipping from 17th November. As for the pricing, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro starts at $999 and $1,299 respectively while the Mac Mini received a price cut and now it starts at $699 for the base model.
