ZTE has silently unveiled a new smartwatch called ZTE Watch Live. It is a budget-friendly smartwatch that offers some attractive features like a square-shaped display, 21-day long-lasting battery life, all-day heart rate monitoring, 12 sports modes, and IP68 rating.

The ZTE Watch Live smartwatch is equipped with a 1.3-inch touchscreen TFT display that offers 240 x 240 pixels. Users can customize its appearance by using different watch faces. The smartwatch promises a battery life of around 14 to 21 days on a single charge. It comes with support for magnetic wire charging. The exact size of its battery is not mentioned in the official listing.

When it comes to fitness, the ZTE Watch Live comes with support for 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation tracker, and sleep tracking. It can be used to track 12 kinds of sports activities like walking, running, skipping, skiing, swimming, cycling, and more.

Once paired with a smartphone through Bluetooth 4.2, the Watch Lite can be used to check notifications like incoming calls, reminders, messages, and so on in real-time. It supports other functions like the weather forecast, remote camera, music control, find my phone, and sedentary reminder.

The ZTE Watch Live measures 40.6 x 34.6 x 10.8 and it weighs only 35.7 grams. It is an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant device. It has a skin-friendly wristband that is made from silica gel.

The ZTE Watch Live carries a pricing of 229 Yuan (~$35) in China. The pre-sale of the smartwatch has started, and its shipping will start on Dec. 3. There is no word on the availability of the ZTE Watch Live outside of China.
