The affordable Vivo Y12A has been launched in Singapore and Thailand. It is a new addition to Vivo’s Y12 family that includes Vivo Y12, Vivo Y12i, Vivo Y12s, and Vivo Y12s 2021. The Y12A that has gone official in the above-mentioned markets appears to be a rebadged version of the Y12s 2021, which debuted in Vietnam last month.

The Vivo Y12A features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch, which delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For snapping selfies, it has a front camera of 8-megapixel.

The rear panel of the device has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 10W charging and 5W reverse charging. For security, the device features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 439 chip and 3 GB of RAM power the device. For storage, it has a built-in storage of 32 GB and a microSD card slot. The other specs of the phone include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo Y12A pricing and availability

The Vivo Y12A is priced at 4,499 Baht (~$143) in Thailand, and it comes in two colors: green and blue.
