In May, POCO confirmed that the POCO F3 GT will be launching in Q3 2021 in India. This phone is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that debuted a few months back in China. A new report by 91mobiles has revealed that the launch timeframe of POCO F3 GT.

The publication has learned that the POCO F3 GT launch event will be held in the first ten days of August. Hence, there is a possibility that the company may start teasing the arrival of the F3 GT in the next few weeks in India.

The POCO F3 GT is likely to feature the same specs that are available on the gaming-focused Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. It is unclear whether it will have the RGB lighting and gaming trigger shoulder buttons that are available on the Redmi phone.

The POCO F3 GT will come with a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate display with a punch-hole design. The Dimensity 1200 chip will power the F3 GT with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will feature a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging.

It may feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. The handset will offer other features like a dual SIM slot, 5G/4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a microSD card slot, a USB-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Probably, it could be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 in India.
