The flagship sale of Flipkart was expected to boost sales of a truckload of products and it seems to have started showing early trends. It comes as a delight for Apple as Flipkart claims that around 2 lakh units of the iPhone 12 series have been sold since the beginning of the sale on October 3.
Among the favorite smartphones are the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, both of which are being sold at a heavily discounted price. In fact, behind the humongous two lakh sales figure, there’s a major contribution of these two phones.
The show isn’t only about Apple, every one in five customers has chosen to exchange their smartphone for a new one during The Big Billion Days sale. This has brought joy to brands like realme and Xiaomi. Not just that, there’s a big push for cashless payments as well. Banks have been offering some unbelievable discounts.
Flipkart saw a surge in the number of buyers as around 40% more buyers did shopping during the sale. There was also increased participation by Flipkart Plus customers during the early access period of the sale. Close to 5 million products were pre-booked as well that clearly shows the craze of the deals on offer.
