A cloned iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphone has surfaced on a Chinese e-commerce platform (via. TechGoing). The model named i14 Pro Max bears a strong semblance with the original device, at least externally. It is difficult to spot the difference between the i14 Pro Max and the original smartphone at first glance.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is the flagship offering of the latest Apple lineup and it comes with a $999 price tag in the US and up to $1,700 elsewhere. The pill-shaped notch cutout and the new dynamic island are distinguishing features of the Pro models.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max lookalike’s listed specs include a 6.51-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and 4G cellular network connectivity. The specs of the model are eons away from the real Pro Max model from Apple hence its price tag of around $72 is not surprising.
Such lookalike models can be deceptive to the less-vigilant customer, so it is worthwhile to know about their existence. Although there are several details of the iPhone 14 Pro Max lookalike that are lacking, it looks like there is also a high-end variant powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
As per the listing on the Chinese retail platform 1688, the flagship variant has 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The poster also shows it crams a huge 7800mAn battery under the hood and has support for a 120Hz refresh rate on its 6.8-inch display.
The iPhone 14 lineup consists of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. They come with excellent features that place them in the premium segment of the smartphone market.
