Recently, Qualcomm confirmed that the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones will exclusively use Snapdragon chipset worldwide. But this doesn’t mean the South Korean conglomerate has stopped developing new mobile chips under its Exynos brand.
A new finding confirms the same. Samsung may soon announce two new Exynos chipsets.
Two new Samsung Exynos SoCs have been spotted on Bluetooth SIG. These chips are called Exynos 1380 and Exynos 1330.
As their name suggests, they are likely mid-range chipsets. The Exynos 1380 could be the successor of the Exynos 1280 found inside Galaxy A53, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy M33.
On the other hand, the Exynos 1330 could be the successor of either the Exynos 850 or the Exynos 880.
According to the listings on Bluetooth SIG, these two SoCs will carry support for Bluetooth 5.3. It will be possible via a separate RF chip called Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6.
SamMobile suggests that the Exynos 1380 could feature at least two ARM Cortex-A series high-performance CPU cores. It might also come with an ARM Mali-G615 CPU and an integrated 5G modem.
The Exynos 1380 is expected to power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. It might be also found inside other mid-range Galaxy M and Galaxy F series phones.
