MSI has announced three Stealth series laptops at CES 2023 — MSI Stealth 17 Studio, Stealth 16 Studio, and Stealth 14 Studio that come with a sleek magnesium alloy body.
These new high-end laptops from MSI are mostly aimed at creative professionals and gamers, and the devices come equipped with some of the latest hardware that could make them highly competitive.
MSI Stealth 17 Studio
The laptop features a 17.3-inch UHD 4K display with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by the 13th Generation Intel Core i9-13900H or Core i7-13700H processor, coupled with NVIDIA 4000 RTX series graphics processor.
It packs 16GB of VRAM along with up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. The device offers USB Type-C Thunderbolt ports, USB Type-A, combo audio, HDMI, an SD card reader, and an Ethernet port. It also has a Full HD IR webcam with a security shutter and support for Windows Hello facial recognition software, as well as a fingerprint reader and a TPM module. There is also a DynaAudio six-speaker sound system that features Nahimic EasySurround sound.
MSI Stealth 16 Studio
It features a 16-inch UHD 4K display with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. It comes packed with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
The laptop also comes with an FHD IR webcam with support for Windows Hello, along with a fingerprint reader and a TPM module. It has an improved Vapor Chamber cooling system to help boost performance. There’s a 4-cell 99.9Whe battery which comes with a 240W slim adapter for charging. The MSI Stealth 16 Studio has Star Blue and Pure White color options.
MSI Stealth 14 Studio
This laptop features a 14-inch QHD+ display, offering a 2560 x 1600 pixels screen resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 240Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the product comes powered by the Intel Core i7-13007H processor, coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with 8GB VRAM or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with 8GB VRAM.
It supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and comes with up to 2TB of SSD storage. The company has added its own Vapor cooling system that helps boost performance while keeping the temperature in check. It comes with an RGB-lit keyboard, USB Type C Thunderbolt ports, USB Type A, HDMI, and a combo audio jack.
As for the pricing, it appears that the MSI Stealth 14 Studio will have a starting price of around $1,599 and is expected to go on sale from next month.
