Huawei MatePad tablets are quite popular in China due to their remarkable features at an affordable price point. The brand is now preparing to add a new model to the series, the MatePad 11 (2023), which is set to launch on March 23rd. It will share the stage with the Huawei P60 series and the Mate X3 foldable. While we wait for its formal debut, a tipster has shared a few of its key specifications. Here are the details.

Noted tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming Huawei MatePad 11 (2023) will be equipped with an 11-inch LCD display that will offer a 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chip paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The tablet could be fueled by a 7250mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. On the software front, it should run the HarmonyOS 3.1 system.

DCS says the tablet will be offered in streamer purple, obsidian black, island blue, and crystal white colors. Teasers have revealed the tablet will feature a smooth screen with anti-glare eye protection. It is claimed to eliminate up to 97% of the distracting light in the surrounding environment. MatePad 11 (2023) will have a single camera on the back and a notch-less display on the front. The selfie camera will be fitted vertically on the upper bezel.

Huawei says the device will come with TUV Rheinland’s reflection-free certification, which means it can protect users from the negative effects of indoor ambient light.
