After the release of the ZTE Nubia Z9 mini, many people were asking where is Nubia z9, the real flagship. Ni Fei, general manager of Nubia smartphones gives the answer.

Ni Fei posted on his weibo, “After the March 26 press conference, Z9 Max and mini have been a lot of attention, but there are a lot of fans and the media asked me where Z9 go in the end is not without borders?? Today I want to reply to Members: Nubia Z9 with no borders is on its way . ”

Seeing this, the ZTE Nubia Z9 is expected to officially be released in April. The phone would naturally feature higher specs than the Max and the Mini and is also said to be priced above these two models.

ZenFone 2 4GB memory version is priced at 1699 yuan. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor. The phone has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, along with a battery capacity of 3000mAh which will make sure that you can use the phone for more than a day.

In addition, Zenfone 2 with 2GB RAM is also available for 1299 Yuan.

The product page also reveals that there will be an additional model with a better quad-core 2.3GHz Atom Z3580 processor and 64GB internal memory for 1999 yuan. RAM will be unchanged at 4GB.

Recently, the GREE G0111 mobile phone got leaked again in some high definition pictures.

From the images, it looks like the phone has a good built, It comes with narrow bezels in black color. However, the color on the back is silver. In addition, it should be noted that the rear shell on Gree mobile phone is made of plastic material, but it feels good. It does not have a app drawer but has all the apps on the homescreen similar to other Chinese phones. Xiaomi’s MIUI has a similar design. In the configuration, the phone is using a 5-inch 720p screen, equipped with 410 quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor with 2MP front and 5MP Rear camera. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, It also supports SD memory card expansion,  and supports China Unicom 4G / 3G and GSM networks, The Gree smartphone does not support dual SIM dual standby which can be considered as a drawback. It is said that the phone will run on Android 4.4.4. As for the price, expect it to be around 599 Yuan.

YotaPhone 2 is a phone with dual screen. It has a normal display on front and an e-ink display on the back. The phone is made by Yota, a Russian company  and it has been successful in many countries so far. Finally the Yotaphone 2 will be releasing in China, as the phone just passed TENAA.

The Yotaphone 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 800 processor, with 5 inches 1080p display (back e-ink screen is 4.7 inches), built-in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space body. It comes with a 2.0 megapixel front camera and a 13MegaPixel rear camera and runs on Android 4.4 system.

Currently we have no idea about its cost but we don’t think Yota will try to compete with the prices of the existing Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi.

Redmi 2A was showcased today in China with a price tag of just 599yuan / 96$. The price is very near to Redmi 1 which makes it a great buy. It has all the features of Redmi 2 but with better performance and built.

Specifically, Xiaomi Redmi 2A follows most design and configuration of Redmi 2, but the processor is changed from Snapdragon 410 to domestic LC1860, while the five-mode baseband is replaced to three-mode baseband.

LC1860 processor has a 4 + 1 core Cortex-A7 architecture, clocked at 1.5GHz, GPU for Mali-T628 MP2, theoretically CPU performance has decreased from Snapdragon 410, but GPU should have won.

When the Redmi 2A ws tested,It ran into 23351 points , and in our previous tests , Redmi 2 hardly crossed 20,000.

Redmi 2A is better than its sequel in every aspect except RAM management.

Of course, one can’t run a benchmark and determine the overall quality of a mobile phone, as Qualcomm’s platform stability, maturity and other aspects of the baseband should be better than the LC1860 platform.

After a bulk of rumours of MiPad 2, finally new picture has been released. The image refines the design of MiPad 2 and looks authentic. The specs are still unknown but you can check the specs which were leaked before.

The design looks very similar to Mi Note with the same curved glass and the placements of camera and sensors. It has a MI logo on the upper left and the earpice at center. It is possible that MiPad 2 may have calling feature. This seems to be a good step from Xiaomi as having Cellular data will eventually increase the portability. Seeing the looks of it, Xiaomi has made Mi Pad from a childish colorful tablet to a classy and sexy Tab.

It is running MIUI 6 and it could be the first device running MIUI based on lollipop but then you feel like as if you are day dreaming. Anyways, MiPad 2 has a metal frame and a glass back this time. We have also got a picture of it’s frame which could define the structure better.

MiPad was the first tablet from Xiaomi and was a succesfull device. MiPad recently launched in India with a Tegra k1 chip and 2GB RAM for Rs. 12,999.

A phone with 4GB of RAM and a Atom Z3560 processor with a 13MP camera is priced only at 270$. Yes you heard it write. Asus Zenphone 2 is cheapest phone with 4GB RAM and is priced too good that even companies like Xiaomi wont imagine and yet they will be making a good profit out of it.

After the end of the conference, Tencent Digital ASUS Computer Inc. President and CEO Jerry Shen had an exclusive interview, Mr. Shen revealed a lot of information about Zenphone 2 including the profit margin.

Jerry Shen said that the price of Zenphone 2 is extremely low but will still be making profit. The key to making money is the ability to control costs, and Asus is pretty good, because of the Asus’s Research and Engineering, Asus has managed to make Zenphone 2 this cheap.

Questions were asked about Sales of the same, Jerry Shen said that ZenFone series has sold about 10 million units. This year, Asus is ready to sell about 25 million units of smartphones, wherein the amount of from 7-8% in China last year will be increased to 30%.

Z9 MINI

Nubia z9 has a Snapdragon 615 with 2Gb of RAM which gives it enough power to play almost everything. It is a dual sim phone with dual 4G standby similar to Z9 Max. It has a 5 inch Sharp display with gorilla glass protection. It has a 16MP rear and a 8MP front shooter. It has a massive battery of 2900Mah which could easily last for more than one and a half day. The body is again made up of metal.

There were rumours of HTC E9 from a long time and now images of the same are leaked. China Ubuntu, a weibo page wrapped off the curtains from HTC E9 today. The images leaked show the similar design of HTC with a good hefty 5″ screen and dual speakers.

The pictures somewhat show that the phone will be of metal. Following the tradition of it’s E series, It has a big round camera in center on the back of the phone with a flash.

In the picture above we can clearly see that tt is running lollipop over Sense 7. It also has a cover attached so we can expect some picture of the covers of the HTC E9. The specs are not yet annonced but we can expect a Snapdragon 805.

HTC E8 was one of the biggest hit of HTC, it has a snapdragon 801 with 2GB of RAM. It has a full HD IPS display with a ppi of around 441.

Snapdragon 801 and Snapdragon 810 had a lot of issues like heating. It used to heat around 50ºC which is a little more than it should. The reason of this was not disclosed by Qualcomm. Now Qualcomm are doing several tests for the heating problem with Snapdragon 801, 810 and the new 815. It shows that it would heat much lesser. The results show that the Snapdragon 815 is cooler than Snapdragon 801 and 810 too which means its powerful and at the same time it is optimized to be cooler then its predecessors.

The test was done with Asphalt 8 airborne which is a graphic intensive game and it clearly shows that Snapdragon 815 is much cooler.

In the Results as we can see Snapdragon 815 reached a Max Temperature of 38 degrees which is quite low in respect to 42 degrees of Snapdragon 801 and 44 degrees of Snapdragon 810. Hence we can conclude that the new Architecture choice of Qualcomm is right and the devices based on Snapdragon 815  will be much cooler then the devices we are having now in the market with the Snapdragon 810 and 801.

Gionee would be wrapping off the curtains from Elife S7 on 3rd of April in Hydrabad, India. Gionee yesterday sent Press invites for the same.

The Gionee Elife S7 is made out of aviation grade aluminium magnesium alloy with full metal skeleton design. It is not the company’s slimmest phone but nonetheless it is ultra slim at 5.5 mm. Both the front and the back of the phone is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This creates a combination of hardness and softness which would provide maximum protection. It is  available in Black, White and Blue colour variants and has been priced at 399 Euros (US $448 / INR Rs 27,700 approximately) and should be priced around Rs 25,000-28,000 in India. Lets have a look at the specifications of the Gionee Elife S7 in India.

The Gionee Elife in India S7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s Amigo OS 3.0 on top of it.

The Gionee Elife S7 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor. Gionee claims that its image processing system ‘Image+’ will enable users to shoot stunningly high quality images with easy user experience. The camera can capture six images in one second and compose them to one image by adjusting brightness and image noise. All this is possible due to the night mode engine of Image+. It can capture a picture within 500 milliseconds and can focus on the subject in 300 milliseconds.

The flagship device has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera which comes with intelligent Face beauty 3.0 technology. It would estimate users’ gender and age and then recommend the best over the face beauty effects for more natural selfies. The smartphone is 5.5 mm thick and weighs 126 grams. It supports Dual SIM as well.

Last year Xiaomi entered Indian Market with a Bang. Their phones used to sell out in seconds through flash sales. Now a new Chinese Giant is about to enter India. Yes, Meizu India is official and looks like they will be landing in a month or so.

The banner above was showcased on their official Meizu India Facebook page. Meizu is one of the top Companies in China and it may be a great threat to Xiaomi in India. LetzWrite posted a picture in which a Meizu official is talking about the launch. It may be a fake picture but now Meizu has wrapped of the curtains after posting this banner saying “Hello Indian fans”.

Seeing the the posts on the Meizu India Facebook page, it looks like Meizu is planning to bring M1 Note to India. M1 Note will be placed in budget segment and would cost around INR 12,000 including taxes. It ill be competing with phones like Moto G, Mi3, Wammy Titan 4, Redmi Note and Yu Yureka.

A twitter handle, leaksfly has revealed off some images of Redmi Note 2, It looks very similar to Redmi Note. The pictures show that the phone has very thin bezels and a big screen. We asume it to be 5.7″.

The specs rumured of the phone is also great, It has a Snapdragon 615 with 2GB of RAM . It is running MIUI6 based on Android 4.4.4. It will have a 5.7″ IPS LCD display protected with OGS Glass (Similar to Corning gorilla glass 3). As for connectivity options, the phone is said to feature dual microSIM slots and will support GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz; WCDMA: 850/900/1900/2100MHz, FDD LTE: 1800/2100/2600MHz. Yes, it is rumored to have FDD-LTE support which it compatible with a lot of country’s 4G network band.

As this version is a 4G version, we may see a 3G version with a MediaTek processor but for now, there is no information on that. Redmi Note is one of the top selling phones in china in the phablet category and with Redmi Note 2, Xiaomi may set a new benchmark. If the size of the phone increase, the size of battery will also increase, Hence we can expect a battery of around 4000mAh, which could make phone easily last for 2 days. There are also some rumors going on that it may have NFC and Finger Print Scanner.

LG G4’s Case leaked before the launch of the phone. The picture was leaked by a weibo page, looking at the case, the LG G4 looks very similar to G3, though not the exact same. It has a protruding camera and a bigger and taller button known as Key Plus on the back, with flashes on either of the sides. Yesterday there were some rumurs about the LG G4 and today after the release of the cover, It seems LG has confirmed the design. Following the G series, it would have a shiiny back and a great build.

It is also rumoured that the phone will have a little curve that is it  will have a little bend. LG G3 also had a little curve on the back side but lets see what LG does with LG G4.

The rumors point that the innards of G4 will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 16MP rear camera, QHD display and a massive front camera. These leaks are early stage press renders, so the actual product might look different when it launches.

Mediatek seeing Qualcomm has launched its own fast-charge technology, Qualcomm has this technology with a variety of mobile phones in the market. MTK fast charge is named PumpExpress, abbreviated as PE. Creative design has been announced.

They have designed the logo very smartly, with “M”, “T”, “P” and “E” in capital, the logo looks very attractive and much better then Qualcomm’s Quick Charge. Whether it is a high-pass or MTK fast charge, no Chinese name, are not easy to promote. Technically essential difference: MTK fast charge current is up to 9V, and Provides 7V output; Qualcomm fast charging technology had two generations of improvements, upgraded to 2.0, provides a 5V, 9V, 12V output, 12V is currently not yet open. Analyst, panjiutang just broke the news on the weibo, For the next 6 months, There will not be any flagship from Xiaomi, Mi5 will release in Q4 this year.

In addition, Pan Jiutang also revealed some information Mi Note productivity, he said existing Mi Note has cover problem, so it will not have much capacity to improve.

With the Release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung breaks the long partnership with Qualcomm processor, This is going to make a loss of 48 million orders. Some say because of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 compared to Exynos 7420, this is a reasonable decision as Exynos 7420 is much more powerful than the Snapdragon 810. However, Foreign media broke the news that, Samsung is working with MTK (MediaTek) and negotiations are going on. It will be replacing Qualcomm, If Mediatek comes to Samsung, then it means that Samsung will likely become less high-end product company. This deal will defiantly be a good step by them as it will increase price to performance ration but then you will not get features like Fast Charging and Kernel Sources. If Samsung takes this step, then we can see high end phones at a much lesser price. Samsung has made a brand value and if they start selling phones at a much lesser price, they will defiantly have a good come-back.

In 2014, There were a lot of Rumurs about the MI Electric Car, it was one of the most talked thing of Xiaomi. It was called poor man’s car and other such things.

las week, Lei Jun said that they have planned about the next 15 years, which includes Phones, Tablets, Routers, Televisions etc., He Clearly stated that Xiaomi do not have any plans foe a car. Today the story has taken a major turn, A new Picture is released in which there a a MI Car, it is a 4 seeter hatchback. It was send to some special fans and they released it in weibo with a logo similar to millet, “Lei Jun electric car” picture.

Looking at the photo, it is a brightly colored car electric car, seems to have been in use. On the back there is MI logo and has a very strange name – “Lei Jun electric.”

Car “Lei Jun electric” body is small, whole body red, very compact, but from a design point of view is not too good.

If Xiaomi made the Redmi 2 price in the range of Rs. 7000 (120$), then they may have a great come back after Mi4 16GB which couldn’t impress the Indian market. Redmi 2 would be competing with phones like Moto E 2015 and Lenovo A6000. All three phones have almost the same specs with same price. If Xiaomi wants to get the same fame they were getting after releasing Redmi 1s, then they should sell it for Rs. 6000(110$), Redmi 1s was also seling for the same price.

Last week Xiaomi’s CEO confirmed that Xiaomi will not enter in the automobile industry with  a electric car. They also said that they will not make any device for home improvement and will neither  enter real estate.

Now, Lei Jun said, in 2015, Xiaomi  plans to sell 80 to 100 million phones. It will make a business of around 100 billions to 200 billion yuan( 16$ billion to 32$ billion).

He said that Xiaomi will concentrate on on 5 main things which are Phones, Tablets, TV panels, Routers and TV boxes. In addition, they will invest in samll hardware base companies, for example, they recently introduced a small Yi camera movement, it is developed by a small Company XiaoYi. Lei Jun pointed out that these products are different from other, there is a special team to do things with research and innovation, in future Xiaomi plans to invest in 100 of these kind of companies.

It is worth noting that Nokia’s new machine uses a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core 1.3GHz processor , the memory on its 512BM form a super low-end configuration , showing the advances of Finland’s Nokia MediaTek cheap hand again entered the low-end market intentions. However, A big question arises that can a phone with 512MB can run android 5.0? Well if we think of past even the phones like Sasumng galaxy y used to have lollipop but now it runs kitkat smoothly on a CUstom kernel. Nokia is trying to enter the budget segment with this phone, It would also be a hit, but 512MB RAM is just too low seeing today world. The phone would arrive early next year. Seeing the Specs, the phone should be around 75$ – 100$ or even less.

In addition, Huawei official also stressed that the algorithms of the Glory Router provide anti-brute, visitors Wi-Fi isolation, Which makes it one of the most secure router while Huawei security official called it a “laboratory verification”. Glory Router will be one of the cheapest Router with this price. It is directly targeting the Xiaomi Router which was a great hit last year. As the Router is dual band, you can have a great speed. Huawei’s Router’s usually have a great build and a great control panel too. The router will come only in White colour. The shape of the Router is not at all common but rather a Cuboid kind of Router. The router’s apperance make it more like a show peice than a Techy Router. The pure flat looks make it very elegant. The specs seems to be a deal breaker but lets see what it does when it gets released.

MEIZU’s CEO showed mx5’s home button
at his weibo today, it seems that the new phone would be a great upgrade over Mx4.

J.Wong said they can only do something like the home key with fingerprint recognition, but he also stressed that many years ago M8 own Home button on the phone’s shape is similar to that. Lets see what Meizu will bring, It is also rumured that the phone will have a 41MP Primary Shooter.

Last Year Meizu Launched it’s Flagship, Mx4, Mx4 is one of the most popular phone made by Meizu, Meizu has a reputation for making premium devices, and the MX4 is no exception. It caught more attention perhaps when it topped the AnTuTu chart of 2014. A phone with just .2 mm bezels on either side of display and a surprise Mediatek MT6595 octacore processor. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. The phone was a big hit.

Tencent has now made a new ROM, Tencent OS (TOS) officially open beta today, but before the a statement comes from officials, from the look, this is not Tita project started again, but a new Highly Costumized ROM. lokking at the ROM, you will see its very similar with MIUI, with same type of Navigation Bar, the colour scheme and the UI itself, and there is also no app drawer.

For Tencent, although Tita projects failed, but they will not sit ideal in this area, while Tencent OS can be seen as they want and a new mobile Internet portal preemptive measures by ROM .

From the current release of the interface map view we can depict that Tencent new ROM is using the now popular flat design (seen in iOS, MIUI), built-in software have weather, document management, browser, etc., looks relatively clean, while the official also expressed the hope that the user has more independent right to choose. The ROM will be customizable in a great Sense, from the icons to the Clock widget, even we can change the colour of the whole interface. The choices are however limited but Tencent has said that they will be increasing it and also be allowing user to put up their customized Themes to the store.

Today at MWC, Vivo launched a better version of Vivo V5 Max with a bigger battery. The phone now has a 2300mAh lithium ion battery, which will help the phone to stand in today’s Standards. The additional battery has unfortunately increased the thickness of the phone from 4.45mm to 5.1mm. With 4.45mm. MediaTek has launched the MT8173 tablet SoC featuring ARM’s latest Cortex-A72 processor, which is said to be the highest-performing mobile CPU till now, It provides the computing power of up to 2.4GHz. The MT8173 uses two Cortex-A72 cores and two Cortex-A53 cores in a big.LITTLE architecture. MediaTek also pulled off the curtains from the 64-bit octa-core MT6753 SoC. The SoC will be the World’s most Powerfull SoC ever made. According to Mediatek, Due to higher computing performance and low power consumption, MT8173 significantly enhance the performance six times higher than in 2013 released the MT8125.

MT8173 supports 120Hz dynamic image display technology, the screen refresh rate of the screen of mobile devices upgraded to 120Hz, 60Hz display provides than double the smooth scroll effect and clearer images, reducing blur or blurring of text and images. MT8173 has begun to send samples to customers. The first tablet with MT8173 will be available later this year. It’s been in a news for a while, and finally, Huawei today will release it’s all new smartwatch, and the best part is, This watch actually look like a classic watch somewhat like a Rolex. Huawei has released a video trailer of that watch with some of the Pictures, the watch will be Released in some hours from Now (at the time of writing). The name is yet not announced but they have released the watch, the looks of the watch is phenomenal, Its very Similar to Moto 360 and LG G watch R, with a round display, but with no chin. It has a digital crown on the upper right side of the Watch. Huawei Watch will Run Android Wearable OS, and will have Android lollipop out of the box. China will be the first to have it.

As you can see the Huawei Watch has a glossy metal body, with the classic look. It will be the most sturdy watch till now. The diameter of the screen is 42mm which is one of the general sizes you can find of normal watches. Unfortunately it doesn’t has any Screen Protection like gorilla glass but we got a Sapphire glass which is mostly found in Longines and Rolex. It is obviously a luxury Watch but that’s not it. You can have different straps including Leather, Rubber, Cloth, Texture and many more. You can change your watch face (the standby screen from which you will see the time) to a number of watch faces available, ranging from Luxury to Sporty. If you want more watch faces, then their are several apps on google play store for changing the watch face.
