The well-received ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini S smartphone was launched in October, last year. Let’s check out a brief comparison between the two handsets based on their design, hardware, and price.

Along with an eye-catching metal body design, the Lenovo K5 Play is likely to sport an equally engaging IPS HD+ display. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, tech gurus believe it will be available in blue, black and gray color options.

If recently surfaced reports are anything to go by, the phone’s dimensions are likely to be 72.6 mm x 153.75 mm x 7.85 mm (LxWxH). It could weigh in at 155 grams (with battery).

The Nubia Z17 Mini S smartphone sports a metal and glass body design which is further enhanced by an FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection.

The dimensions of the phone are 147.5 x 71.2 x 7.6 mm (LxWxH) and it weighs in at 155 grams (with battery). The device is currently up for grabs in three color options including black, blue and green.

The Lenovo K5 Play smartphone is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937, 64-bit processor, and it adopts a Qualcomm Adreno 505 GPU. The device could offer 2GB/3GB of RAM along with 16GB/32GB of expandable internal memory (up to 128GB using microSD card).

The phone could draw its juices from a built-in 3,000 mAhLi-Poly (Lithium Polymer) battery which delivers up to 280 hours of standby time and up to 11 hours of talk time. Moreover, it might offer dual hybrid SIM (Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM/microSD) with dual standby.

Earlier reports suggest there are 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. The K5 Play will come with a single memory channel and boast an array of useful sensors including a proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, ambient light, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and gyroscope.

The Nubia Z17 Mini S smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 MSM8976 Pro processor along with a Qualcomm Adreno 510 graphics processing unit, under the hood. The phone offers 6GB/4GB RAM and 64GB/64GB of non-expandable ROM.

The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone is backed by a robust 3,200 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. It is non-removable.

The phone features microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC card slots. As far as sensors are concerned, the Nubia Z17 Mini S smartphone comes with a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, compass, gyroscope, and fingerprint sensor.

If rumors doing rounds online prove to be true, the Lenovo K5 Play smartphone will come bearing a starting price tag of about $110. Meanwhile, the ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini S smartphone will set you back about $370.
