The aforesaid devices are highly likely to sweep smartphone lovers off their feet after hitting the stores shelves in April and May 2018, respectively.

Appearance & Design

The Vernee X1 smartphone is housed in a metal and glass body and it sports an awe-inspiring tri-bezel-less, dual-glass design. Moreover, it sports an IPS display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

You can find a 16MP + 5MP dual camera setup along with a fingerprint scanner on the back. There’s a 13MP + 5MP dual selfie cameras in the front.

The phone’s dimensions are 159.5 mm x 76.0 mm x 9.8 mm (LxWxH) and it weighs in at 199 grams (with battery). You will be able to choose from black and blue color options of the smartphone.

The impending Cubot P20 smartphone will reportedly sport aluminum and polycarbonate mix body. Furthermore, it features an eye-catching IPS, LCD, FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

The back side of the P20 houses a 20MP + 2MP dual camera setup with dual-LED flashlight and AF. There’s a 13MP snapper placed in the front for the selfie addicts.

The rumored dimensions of the phone are 75.5 mm x 158 mm x 8.5 mm and it reportedly weighs 185 grams. If earlier reports are anything to go by, the P20 will be up for grabs in black color version.

Hardware & Performance

The X1 packs a MediaTek Helio P23 MTK6753, 64-bit processor along with an ARM Mali-G71 MP2, 770MHz, 2-Cores GPU, under the hood. It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB ROM that can be expanded up to 128GB using SIM 2 slot.

The phone is backed by a robust 6,200mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, which is non-removable. This massive cell will be able to deliver up to 620 hours of standby time and up to 28 hours of talk time.

The Vernee X1 is expected to come with 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. On top of that, the device is likely to boast a broad range of sensors such as an ambient light, e-compass, gravity, gyroscope, proximity, and a fingerprint sensor.

Despite the lack of an official confirmation, previously surfaced reports suggest the Cubot P20 will be powered by a MediaTek MT6750T, 64-bit processor. The imminent phone is rumored to employ an ARM Mali-T860 MP2, 650MHz graphics processing unit.

The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal memory (up to 256GB SIM 2 slot). The P20 is highly likely to draw its juices from a built-in 4,000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that delivers up to 315 hours of standby time and up to 16.5 hours of talk time.

The Cubot P20 smartphone will reportedly come with 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. There’s also hearsay that it will have multiple sensors such as proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, and a fingerprint scanner.

Price

Although nothing is set in stone yet, the Vernee X1 is expected to come bearing a price tag of about $240. The yet-to-be-launched Cubot P20 will reportedly set you back about $230.
