Apple announced iPhone 12 Pro Max on October 13, 2020.

The phone which is powered by the new Apple A14 Bionic processor, comes with a 6.7 inche Super Retina XDR OLED capacitive touchscreen and 2778 x 1284 p resolution. It features an HDR display and True Tone, and Wide color (P3) gamut. The display screen is protected by a unique ceramic shield and features 1200 nits max brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate.

It comes with a 6GB RAM and three storage variants 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The rear camera consists of a 12MP (wide) + 12MP (telephoto) 5x optical zoom + 12MP (ultrawide) sensors and a LiDAR scanner for night mode.

The front camera has a 12 MP (wide) + SL 3D (depth/biometrics) camera sensor. Other sensors include Lidar, Face ID, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer + Siri natural language commands, and dictation.

The smartphone is fueled by a 3687mAh Li-Ion battery and supports 20W fast charging, USB Power Delivery 2.0,  7W Qi wireless charging and 15W MagSafe Wireless Charging. The phone runs on iOS 14 operating system which can be updated to iOS 14.7.

iPhone 12 Pro Max comes in four different colors viz: Graphite, Silver, Gold and Pacific Blue. It features 2.0, proprietary reversible connector.
