The smartwatch is powered by the Apple S9 processor while the GPU is PowerVR. The tablet comes with a Retina LTPO OLED capacitive touchscreen and 484 x 396 pixels resolution. The screen of the device is protected by Ion-X strengthened glass + Always-on display. It is built with a glass front, ceramic/sapphire crystal back, and stainless steel frame.

The sensors include accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, always-on altimeter, compass, SpO2, VO2max, temperature (body) + Natural language commands and dictation (talking mode) + Ultra Wideband 2 (UWB) support. The device is fueled with Li-Ion 308 mAh, non-removable + wireless charging. It runs on watchOS 10 operating system.

Apple Watch Series 9 Aluminum comes in different colors Midnight, Starlight, Silver, Pink, Red. While the smartwatch doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack, it does include a loudspeaker. It is pack with 64 GB internal storage.
